Shd you see Mr Merry, will you thank him for his kind letter to whc I shall reply—soon– I gratefully felt all your sympathy– Oh yes!—much is left—very much!—& what is taken serves to endear with human love the Heavenly places. I, standing on the threshold of two worlds, see love in each!–

I open my letter to announce <the> arrival of a note from dear Mr Kenyon conveyed here by Mr Bezzi who travelled with him as far as Paris– He does not mention his health—and as to other news you are to hear in a few days–
