Wednesday, 23. Dined with Mr. & Mrs J. Bradlee in Beverly. John Dwight was there and we rejoiced together over Mirèio—which he has just read.
The day was very warm and we, two, took a salt water bath before going!!! J. loves the water about as well as a mad-dog.
