[Niagara Falls—Sunday, 3 October 1875]

Sunday. Oct 3. Glorious morning—wandered about the falls—walked across the Suspension Bridge and marvelled afresh over the wonders wrought by the brain of man as well as over the majestic beauty of the place.

Left Niagara at one—arrived at Chicago at 8 o’clock.
