Thursday 20. Yesterday one of those delicious breezes from the sea fell upon us and revived our drooping souls.

Robert Collyer & daughter go to Hingham. A wonderful shower at night. Heavy clouds and thunder. Drove to see Henry Adams’s house and Mrs Scall & Lucy Larcom.
