My dear S. Barrett
I have only a few minutes to say I was glad to hear you got home safely & that the anxious affair in which you were engaged is over—& that Room behaved so well—he had a terrible journey back—I suppose from the weather–
I have heard from Cater to day—he says the packet will not be at Sav: La Mar before the 25th– I shall hope to hear from you again before you sail–
Very sincerely Yrs
