Dear Sir,

Mr Anderson the Solicitor has intimated to me, that you will pay the £100, which the late S. M. Barrett Esq. promised to the Erection a Wesleyan Chapel Brown’s Town St Anns; which promise, he states, Mr Barretts Brother has confirmed. I take this early opportunity of addressing you upon this subject as the chapel is now in a considerable state of forwardness, but the funds at command are not adequate to its completion. An early attention to this business would be a favour to those engaged in the building a line to The Rev. S. Simmons (my Successor) Stewart Town, or to me at this place will be acceptable and would oblige
