Dear Sir

I was in Westmoreland when your letter of the 6th instant reached here, which I hope will be a Sufficient apology for not replying to it earlier. I note your remarks respecting the house you occupy at Cornwall. In the absence of any instructions from Mr Barrett on the Subject I would rather wait till the arrival of young Mr Barrett who may perhaps have a power from his Father to arrange the matter with you.
