My dear Mr Boyd,

I have been meditating a visit to you, but find that I cannot accomplish it for a day or two—and as I am not able to go, I thought I wd write to you to tell you about Ba. Dr Barry was here two days ago, & he seemed to think that she was “decidedly better,” & that as soon as she was able to get out of doors, she wd regain her strength a little. Sam & Stormie sail on Wednesday morning. They were to have gone yesterday, but this high wind prevented them from doing so. You will be surprised to hear we are expecting Mr Hunter tomorrow. He is coming to spend a fortnight with us, & after that time to preach for three Sundays at some place near Homerton. I have no doubt he will call upon you some day this week.

Saunders told Papa the other day that the Seraphim was selling very well. Is not that good news? I am writing in a great hurry, so forgive all mistakes.
