Sunday 25th August 1839.

Dear Sir.

Mr Philip Anglin Morris died here this morning, and having expressed a wish in his lifetime, to be buried alongside his family, who are all buried in the family burial ground at Cinnamon Hill, May I request the favor of you, to make this Known to Mr. Barrett, should he be on the Estate, and also to get some of the Estate’s people, who Know where the different parts of the family are buried, to open the Grave, and for which, I will remunerate them– As we propose to remove the Body from hence about 1, or 2 O’Clock tomorrow morning would you do me the Kindness to allow me some place to put it when it reaches the Estate until ready for interrment & you very much oblige
