Dear Sir,

I beg most respectfully to acknowledge the receipt of your favour of the 1st Inst. & to thank you very sincerely for your kind donation of Ten pounds to our Missionary Society at Browns Town, as well as for the handsome manner in which you have fulfilled the wishes of your late esteemed uncle by forwarding the £100.0.0. towards Browns Town Chapel which he purposed giving previous to his lamented death.–

I send by the bearer a report of our Society for 1838.– The reports for 1839 are daily expected as soon as they arrive I will forward a copy.
