[Jamaica]

5th October 1839.

Dear Sir,

I have duly received your favor of the 1st inst. Mr Myers has taken down all conveyances of the lands at Falmouth and noted the plats. This search requires to be fairly stated and I shall have to adjust the plats where they appear to determine what was the plat of the Town as it stood and to shew if possible what remains unsold, but I fear the difficulty of making a connected plat, but you shall have the best information I can obtain from the records.

I am Dear Sir,

Yrs truly

Alex W. Aikman
