My dear Miss Barrett–

Will whichever of my fair unknown friends remains in Wimpole Street have the goodness to transmit the one Volume of Tableaux, with its little note to Mr Horne? & the other copy to that dear friend at Torquay to whom the book owes its chiefest charm?– I earnestly trust that she is better, & that the new physician will, so far as is possible replace the old– Kindest regards to you all. Ever dear Miss Barrett

Very faithfully yours

M R Mitford
