Sir
Understanding you have at present under your charges a large number of Captured africans, I should be willing in the event of his Excellency the Governor intending to locate them on properties & would apprentice them for any term not less than one year, to take one hundred of them as agricultural labourers in families classed as nearly as possible in the following manner viz. 35 male adults 35 female do & 30 children & should feel obliged by your giving me the earliest information as to whether my application is likely to be successful & what conditions it will be necessary for me to comply with.
