My dear Sirs

I cannot do more, as time passes, than merely allude to your letter of the 7th Sepr last, promising you that your instructions respecting the payment of the balance of your account shall be, I trust in a few days, attended to–

My chief object in writing is to advise you that the Deeds of mutual Release & the conveyance of the bonds on Cambridge & Oxford will come out in the Hector Ship Captn Freeman in a day or two, & that the instructions are within the Parcel from my Solicitors here; as agreed upon between them and the Messrs Le Blanc & Cook, so that we might proceed on in perfect harmony to prevent any untoward interruption to what, at last, we have brought to an end on this side the water–

If Mr S. G. Barrett is not in Spanish Town, perhaps you had better forward the conveyance to my Son at Cinnamon Hill, who will get him to execute it, & through him Mr H. W. Plummer; before doing so however I should think that it would be as well to obtain the signature of Mr Palmer, who I believe, lives in or near Kingston–

I am sure you will use your best exertions to complete the business & thus remove this ground of anxiety from my mind– How rejoiced I am to see how well you are all going on, but I have no time to enter upon this subject[.]
