Sir

Mr Philip Scarlett having desired us to proceed upon the Judgement obtained by you against Mr Robertson, we think it right to send you a copy of his Letter, from which you will perceive that he will be in Town in Decr and will then do every thing that you require.– If we were to commence an Action against him immediately, we could not take any—effectual Steps to compel a Settlement before the latter end of January, we therefore think it advisable to wait ’till the time mentioned in his Letter, before you pursue legal measures.–

We are

Sir

Your very ob Servant

For Shawes & Le Blanc
