After all, my headache continued a little this morning, and I have forced myself to be idle all day, reading Mrs. Browning only, besides attending to Julian. …

The Brownings have left Florence, not to return until the summer is over. Mrs. Browning’s health is very, very delicate. She looks as if she could not live long, but Mr. Browning told me that he did not feel alarmed about her health, this spring, she has so long been in a similar state.
