Sir,
Mr Robertson was here yesterday and executed a Conveyance of 308 Acres of Land Patentied by John Pilcain [sic, for Pitcairn] to Plummer and others the Surviving Trustees in Your Grandfathers Will upon the same Trusts as Cambridge and Oxford are Devised– On the 29th of April 1790 Mr Robertson received from Your Grandfather £760.6. as appears by his Receipt, and 308 Acres at 50s per Acre is £770 and therefore Mr Robinson is entitled to £9.14 with Interest from 29th April 1790– We will either pay him this Balance or allow it to him on the Judgment– We beg to know if we are to send this Deed to Jamaica for the purpose of being Recorded—which is proper should be done.
We shewed Mr Robertson your last Letter and asked him what he meant to do about the Judgment, & he said he must pay it at the time mentioned in your former Letter of the 25th of March wherein you say “If Mr Robertson will come forward and make a sufficient Title I will not hesitate to say that I will wait the payment for 6 Months’[’]– Mr Robertson has made the Title–
