… Mr K has just sent me the “Modernised Chaucer” of wh I have yet seen only Mr Wordsworths specimens and thought them beautifully done– The rest I cannot expect to find so true to the very freshness of their originals, but I shall look with a curious eye at Miss Barrett’s– I wonder whether you and I shall differ materially in our judgement of “Life in the sick room.” …
