Mr Anderson, on behalf of Anderson & Kemble of Jamaica, having to pay me money, which is rather urgently required, has, on my applying to him, informed me that an account of the firm with you, amounting, if I understood him rightly, to somewhere about £100 Sterling, is available; as he hopes the explanations he gave in regard to some objections on your part will have been satisfactory, and that from the kind & friendly feeling you have expressed towards him you would be good enough to assist in meeting the claim upon him by settlement of the amount of the account with me: and he has authorized me to write to you on the subject. Your early compliance with his wish would confer an obligation on me as well as on Mr Anderson.
