Dear Sir/

Mr Elgie has been with me this morning, and says he does not care about the rents since Xmas, but is anxious to get possession in order to complete an arrangement for the sale of the property, and that if any rents have been received your Agents can pay them over at any time– He states that no money has been laid out by you in repairs, for the premises were let very low, and your Agents bound the Tenants to do the repairs– He says he shall leave Town on Friday next & will call here in the morning & hopes by that time you will have heard from Ledbury– I have seen Mrs Homan[’]s undertaking as to the repairs & think it sufficient.

Mr Elgie wishes to honor Mr Solloways Bond for £400 for Mrs Homan who is Solloways Executive & has to produce it. As the matter is settled I see no objection to the Bond being given to him.
