… Passing by a florist I bought a handful of flowers that I added to some from the garden and after my [dinner] I had the gardener come. He made me a magnificent bouquet that I sent with Juditte to Mrs. Browning. At 7 o’clock I went out with Mr. and Mrs. de Schmid and Kate to Villa Brichieri to Miss Blagden’s to spend the evening there. …
