I don’t know that I can give you any News, worth mingling with the scenery round about you—except that Browning has arrived from Italy—driven thence, by the stones which the wretched Lumbo hateful to God and heaven dominant there, flung at his wife’s (Casa Guidi) “windows”.– I heard this through his publishers; nobody I know has yet seen him. …
