My dear Pup–

Since writing my first letter, Mr Myers has requested me to enclose this letter for you to send on immediately to Mr Wm H. Hines, who lives at a store called Spring Mount (I think) near Mr Davis’s Pen, Harmony Hill– James Brown went there twice, and Bob Williams (Riley’s son) once– But John Scott, should you not get Bob, or any other somebody will find him out– You had better send it in an envelope– Should you not get anybody at once, perhaps you will not find the ride too much, as its immediate delivery will save us £6 or 7–
