Poor Charlotte, Ocky’s wife died in lodgings in Taunton—after a few days illness. They had come to look out for a house in this neighbourhood, to be near us! She had given birth to a little boy Sept. 29—was imprudent, caught cold, soon all hope was over. Poor dear Ocky—a terrible blow to him. I was with them.
