I am entrusted with a collection of ms poems by the Revd. T. Burbidge, British Chaplain at Trieste. I have also a smaller collection, of my own writing.

Mr. Burbidge and myself wish to publish together: and,—if we can find a publisher,—not at our own risk.– We thought that we might copy the example set by Mr. Browning in his Bells and Pomegranates and publish a series of cheap numbers, called ‘Myths and Monologues’—to be continued, according to their success. …
