… I did not mean a literal young Poet my dear love—only a Poetess’s for a daughter—in the sense of Mrs Acton Tindals or Mrs Browning’s offspring– I hear very seldom from Mrs Browning now. She seems to care for none but his admirers & I am none of those. I fear that marriage much. Thank you for your sympathy about dear dear Flush. I miss him more & more.
