I heard yesterday from Mrs Browning enquiring most kindly after you & your little fairy– She is again expecting in February—that is if a fall out of an easy chair which she had had the night before writing to me had not again overset her hopes. She did not know how it might turn out. Mr Browning had been very ill, but cured by Mr Mahoney (Father Prout) an excellent physician as most of those Jesuits are. His illness was ulcerated sore throat. …
