The papers are all ringing with Sumner, Sumner! … A quiet evening, reading Mrs. Barrett Browning’s Love Sonnets,—“Sonnets from the Portuguese,” she entitles them. A very admirable series of poems!—rather dusky at times, but deep and impassioned.
