My dear Cook.

At length I am able to send you the Heseltine & Bayford tail of the Pedigree. There are still one or two blanks but I have not been able to find the dates without going to Islington. I am sorry I could not do it for you before but hope you will not find its arrival too late to be of use.

With our united love to Henrietta & the young gentleman

I am

Yours sincerely

A F Bayford

I forgot to say that we have done all in our power to mention your object to the only persons whom we know of likely to be acquainted with any of the magistrates whose names you sent us. I wish I could report more success but all we have had is a sort of promise from one.

Publication: None traced.

Manuscript: Armstrong Browning Library, Altham Archive.
