Dear Friend
I write this, as I have an opportunity, only to say I wrote you a long letter lately, which I hope reached you …
I have had a letter from Lord Stanhope in which he says that visions are certainly seen in his Chrystal both by children and others, but not such as can be interpreted, & he wants a clairvoyant to see them—I am going to lend him the Book about “the Knockings” which Pror Bush sent me– I am still solitary in point of acquaintances in the Church—and it is long since I read anything of the writings, now I have the Swedenborg Library by Pror Bush–
How I wish you were coming to London, for I fear now there is little chance of our being in Paris– Pray tell me if you meet or hear of the Brownings– …
Publication: None traced.
Manuscript: Michael Meredith.
