… I have received … the little volume of Wolf’s poems, for which I thank him ‘von Herzen’. … I have sent the copies as addressed to Mrs. Austin and Adelaide Procter, the copy for Mrs. Browning I will take myself to Paris. I go there in a few days to spend about a month with the Brownings. … You know how I love Mrs. Browning, and her rich poetical mind as well as her tenderness will perhaps be to me like a pillow to rest on. …
