Did you see Mrs. Browning? She is gone first to Paris and then on to Italy, and is sorely afraid that they will not let her in at Florence, where one wing of the “Casa Guidi” is full of their furniture. For my part, I think the danger is rather that they may put her in prison and keep her there. She is suffering from a return of cough. …
