My Dear Sir
I send out into the storm a hasty reply to your note to say we shall be glad to get the two vols. of verse by the married Songsters Robert & Elizabeth. We will pay on receipt of the early sheets in advance of its appearance in England 50£ (50 pounds) for both, or I will agree to pay 10 pr ct. on all cops sold of both so long as we are not interfered with by any other firm in America. I have already announced as in Press both books as my friend Miss Mitford told me in a letter some days ago they were on the topic. …
