Je vous aime beaucoup, et J’espere que nous aurions bien de plaisir aujourd [’]hui, comme cest le cher jour do votre naissance; [1] I hope you will excuse me finishing in English, to tell you that I wish you many many happy returns of this day & that I may be abll [sic] to write you a much better letter, next year. I hope we shall all have a merry break-fast.

& I am dearest Papa’s child
