My darling Bro

As I daresay you are out almost all day long this beautiful weather. I send you a knife which I hope will be very useful to you in pruning your rose trees and keeping your garden in good order. Minny will tell you how much we want you here to assist us in making our new flower garden and do a hundred useful jobs for us. You would be very much pleased to see Fanny’s sweet little baby & I am sure you would think Richard and Tom grown very much. They dined and drank tea with me yesterday as I was quite alone. We told stories, played at cards, and were very happy indeed. They are sweet boys, and Missy is beginning to talk nicely. Farewell. Sweetest Bro always believe me
