SD1830.  Journal Entry of Elizabeth Clementine Kinney

As published in The Brownings’ Correspondence, 21, 377 (in part).

[Florence]

Wednesday June 13th [1855]

Went last evening to say adieu to the dear Brownings & Miss Blagden, who left together for England this morning. “The City of Flowers” will fade somewhat I fear, now that three of its choice poets have departed.

Publication: None traced.

Manuscript: Columbia University.
