Sunday Morng [Postmark: 21 December 1856]
My dear Mr Milsand,
I have just received a note from the friend in London to whom I gave your commission, telling me that he has procured a copy of the work, and left it, as I directed, with my uncle Reuben, whose good pleasure in sending it over, is all that you will now have to wait for. You see how very easily Galignani might have got the book, had any trouble been taken in the matter. The next time you want any thing of the kind, apply to me, and not to Galignani.
Very truly yours,
Sarianna Browning.
Address: Monsieur Milsand / 9, rue Servandoni, / En Ville.
Publication: None traced.
Manuscript: Armstrong Browning Library, Joseph Milsand Archive.
