… I see vague, but curious, accounts of a certain Baron Guldenstübbe & Sisters extraordinary mediums in Paris, who are greatly run after & surpass Mr Hume. Of the latter I have heard great wonders & most entirely authentic, during his stay here two years ago–
There is also a Moldavian Prince mentioned–
My friend Mrs Browning, the Poetess, is greatly interested in all these things—she is in heart New Church– So is also Powers the American Sculptor & several here– If you can tell me any particulars about this Guldenstübbe it would be very interesting– …
