My dearest Henrietta

I promised to write to you again & I have much pleasure in now informing you that I arrived here last night at 6 p.m. & will leave today for Gravesend at 3 p.m.– We anchor there tonight I believe, & sail in the morning. George goes with us so far & dines on board. Harry who came yesterday returns today to his Lady to be– It has been decided to erect a monument in Ledbury Church & to employ Lough,—of course my dearest Henrietta you will join with the rest of us. It now only remains for me to reiterate my good wishes for you & yours & to say again that we shall most certainly see each other again on or about the 20th of July—that is if you keep your promise as I intend to keep mine. Ocky dined with H. Trant yesterday & sent his adieux to Arabel this morning to save the botheration of tears.—& Sept has just taken his leave to transact sundry little matters. Give my best love to Surtees—& kisses to the children.–
