My dear Annie
I left Florence only last night having remained in it a week longer than I had intended—and not in vain I hope for I modelled a head of the Browning’s boy which so pleased them that they want it in marble & as I wd not lead them into a commission I resolved I should do it at the cost of outlay, for its a good head for the Ex—& they are very very kind to me & I am sure it will not stop at this– I said it wd be £25 & he gave me 27 before I left. …
