We were all surprised in the middle of a comfortable tea, by Betsy telling us it was your birthday, what could be done. I could do no more than write a short letter to you, I hope you will condescend to read it as it is the best that I can write I mean it to be kind when I wish my curly headed Henry many happy happy returns of his birthday and many true wishes for his true happiness
