Through some accident of the mails, I have no letter from home this week …

I must not forget to tell you that I have been this week to see an engraving from a photograph of Mrs Browning this week, to make any suggestions at Mr Browning’s request—the photograph was good, but the engraving will be bad—it has entirely lost the expression of Mrs B & has injured the features—I hoped it would have given a good idea of her, but it will not. …
