Certainly you must think me quite a wretch. But I have written you one, not long—but actual …
I don’t like this of Mrs Browning’s—but can’t say why. Too long—and no use—I get about ten letters requiring answers and am in need of getting none by right. But I am pretty well—and doing some useful things. If this letter reaches you, give my dear love to Mr and Mrs Browning.
