… I could not possibly show one [of my travel letters] to him, he [RB] is too great. But to show you what kind hearts Mr. and Mrs. Browning have, I send you two notes that they sent me yesterday with Landor’s autograph. I wrote them a few lines thanking them for a letter of Lytton’s. To Miss Blagden Mrs. Browning writes of me as “dear Miss Field.” …
