From Heavens ethereal regions I implore

Blessings on you dear Sam for ever more

And may you bounteous Heaven grant my prayer sincere

That thou may’st ne’er have cause to shed a tear

Which if it fall may’t prove but Aprils shower

And blunt your pleasure only for an hour

And may delightful gladness ne’er depprest

Check every sigh that swells your youthful breast

And may each blessing that my tongue can tell

Be centered in that little word farewell.
