… I like your notion of a plan of Fableaux or Tales, in the French manner. With any pretty piece of machinery connecting them they would tell extremely well in All the Year Round. (I met Chorley at dinner the other night, when, talking of Browning, he told me he, C, had lately recognized him at his best in some striking & original poems, Duke of Guelders, Mohammed &c &c in Dickens’s periodical!) …
