My dearest Sarianna

I thaught [sic] that you would like to hear from me and so I write to you to let you know how we are[.] I am staying up here at the villa of Miss Blagden but Papa is not up here, because he only sleeps here at night and goes down to Florence in the day time. How are you and Dear Nono? We are going directly to Paris to see you.

In Florence it is very hot but not in the country because of the wind. Give my love to Willy. We have just received your letter when I was getting a sheet of paper to write you. Yesterday I went to see the Wild Man who they caught in the islands di fuóco. He is a very funny wild man he has an ivory ring through his nose and he eats raw meat and tobacco.
