My dear Sarianna–
Having but little to say, excuse a little piece of Paper– Coming from the Embassy I met Miss Wilks—who tells me she is going to England this month, but is uncertain about the time– She desires her kind love—& tells me that Miss Howarth is in Paris, so I suppose the letter which is lying on your table is from her– I had a better night last night,—saw Mrs Dyke yesterday[–] Monsr Louis is better to day, he had a bad night on Saturday– The rheumatism seems entirely to have left me—but I feel a weakness in my left leg—so that when I am walking out, I frequently require a resting place– I have not bought any book since I wrote last, but have been to the Biblioteque, where I saw Sutton, & told him how his father & you missed each other. Madm Louis encloses a little note which will not add much weight to the letter. I am dearest
