… The little book of “Selections” from Browning is at press. I suppose will be printed off in another month or so—when a complete copy shall be sent to you. It is not proposed to publish it until October: and all that your Review of B. will require, to adapt it admirably to the occasion of these Selections. We can best settle together when you come to us. I see a great deal of Browning. He & his Sister dined with us on Wednesday and again this Evening. (She has come from Paris for only a few day’s stay). Story has made a great hit here with his Sybil in the Exhibition. I think it really a very fine Work—greatly superior to Cleopatra. … Browning has never mentioned to me that Miss Blagden was here—& I have not seen her! …
