Dearest Henrietta

I was glad to have the pleasure of seeing you in Worcester and should have doubly enjoyed it if you had come without any lamed legs but, I perceive you’r[e] one of the unfortunates as a lame leg or something else has been always the only means of bringing you to our noble City what pleasure should I feel not to be able to have you hear [sic] for one day only if no more was permitted the first time I did not ask you to stay because I had a room full of children and I know that your Momma would not like it, and the last time you had not time you said and I had sent to Worcester to get some Oranges for you and 5 minutes after you were gone they arrived to my no small vexation for as you were gone for whom I intended them I was disappointed. I hope your Game legs are quite recovered as I intend taking a trip over on Easter Sunday to Malvern and Easter Monday I hope to have the pleasure of spending with you on condition that you dont ask me to stay more than that day as I shall be obliged to bring a little girl with me about as big as yourself you mind our bargain is made I am to be let come back on Easter Tuesday. I hope his honor [sic] Mr Charles John Barrett is returned in good health and Spirits from London if he is Give my love and twenty kisses to him– Please to give my kind love to all your Brothers & Sisters and believe me to remain with well wishes for your health and happiness.
